Magic Sqaure

Magic Square

WALT: make the Magic Square and add it to 24.

I solve it by adding numbers on each square. Like 10 + 6 = 16 + 8 = 24 so I put the 8 in between 6 and 10.

The strategy that I used was adding

( 7 + 8 = 15 + 9 = 24 ) .

By checking it I added the numbers on the paper to check if it was correct.

Minecraft Jungle

One day there was a man named Steve, He was getting ready for going skydiving, he went on the plane and flyed off, there was a different person on the plane now then there was before, and he said ‘who cares if there is a different person on the plane, at least he is not Herobrine flying the plane’. But it was Herobrine that was flying the plane. Herobrine was flying the plane to a lost jungle, but Steve did not know that he was flying the plane in the lost jungle and he jumped off the plane and in the jungle.

‘Oh no’ Steve was almost on ground but lucky Steve pulled the string and my parachute came out and steve was safely coming down to the ground. So Steve landed in a lost jungle and Herobrine was flying the plane and Steve need to find my way out of the lost jungle. Steve need some wood so he can make an axe, a pickaxe

and a sword so Steve can survive the night all by myself.

Night 1

It is nighttime in the jungle, it was quite, no one was there but Steve. ‘Steve need to find some stuff so Steve can make a bed for Steve to sleep on’. Steve need to make a sword and a crafting table so Steve can craft a sword. So Steve need (4 wood to make a crafting table and 2 wooden planks and 1 stick to craft a sword). So Steve went off to find those material. So Steve got his axe out and started chopping the tree wood, when Steve was finish chopping down tree wood he had 64 wooden planks and made a crafting table and he went on his crafting table and crafted 15 stick so he crafted a sword and a pickaxe.

Day 2

When Steve got out his sword and his pickaxe he started mining some stone to make a stone pickaxe and a stone sword. When he got some stone he put down his crafting table and crafted a stone sword and pickaxe so he killed 3 sheeps with his stone sword on went back to his crafting table and craft a bed and he went in cave that he made and sleep in there. He crafted a door and put it where he wanted to put it and he covered up the hole with his own stone and he slept from there.

Day 3

The next morning Steve woke up and needed to find something to eat. he had some lamb but Steve don't have a furnace to cook his lamb. so he when and mine some cobblestone so he can make a furnace. Steve went back to his cobblestone house inside the cave and crafted a furnace so Steve put his furnace next to his crafting table. Steve went outside and get some fresh air and look for some cows so Steve can make some leather helmet,chestplate,leggings and boots so Steve needs to look for some cows.it is going to be night time soon so Steve need to bring my stone sword and pickaxe.

Night 4

It is nighttime now so Steve needs to look out for some Creepers Spiders and Skeletons. Creeper they blow up like TNT, Spiders they jump attack, Skeletons they have a bow and arrow and Herobrine is spying on Steve. Herobrine spawn Creeper, Spiders and Skeletons. Steve found lots of cows and Creepers, Spiders and Skeletons are surrounding it. So Steve need to make a bow and arrow. Steve need 3 sticks and 3 stings to craft a bow and to craft an arrow Steve need flint, sticks and some feather. So Steve got those stuff and crafted a bow and arrow. Steve got 1 bow and 64 arrow so Steve needs to shoot the Creeper so Steve can it the can blow up and the other Creeper can blow up because of the first one that Steve shoot with the bow and arrow. So the Creeper, Spiders, Skeletons and all of the cows are dead so Steve collett the stuff from the ground so Steve crafted some armor to protect himself.

The Final Day

It is morning, Steve got up and ate breakfast and Steve’s breakfast is lamb so Steve got all of his stuff crafted a bow so he can go back to minecraft land. So he needs 1 shovel and 5 wooden planks to make a boat. So Steve put down his boat and roed away with his compass to know which way to go.

3. Boy just run around and play like rugby, soccer and touch. But girl just sit down in a circle or not and they just talk.

Dav Pilkey: When Dav Pilkey was a kid, he suffered from ADHD, dyslexia, and behavioral problems. Dav was so disruptive in class that his teacher made him sit out in the hall every day. Fortunately, Dav loved to draw and make up stories. He spent his time in the hallway creating his own original comic books. In the second grade, Dav Pilkey created a comic book about a superhero named Captain Underpants. His teacher ripped it up and told him he couldn’t spend the rest of his life making silly books. Fortunately, Dav was not a very good listener.

Once upon a time there was a big man named Tom. He has a white t-shirt, dark blue jacket, dark blue pants and black shoes and he lives in New Zealand in Auckland. And a tiger named mr tiger. He is big and strong, and mr tiger comes from Asia in the swamps.

When Tom was in New Zealand he wanted to come to Asia, so he packed his stuff and he is ready to go. He was in the airport to go to Asia to get a ticket for the plane. So he when in the plane and he was lots of people on the Asia plane. There are 6 waiters on the plane and a food tray where they give out food to the people. You get to order for your food and they will give it to you.

When Tom hoped on the plane, he said ‘cool’. It was his first time on the plane. The waiter told him where to sit. So Tom put his suitcase on the top shelf, then he sit down. The pilot said ‘put your seatbelt on so we can take off.

Swimming Reflection

2.Today for swimming leasons that we learned freestyle, freestyle left first then right.

3. So you can not drown underwater.

Evaluating the Author's Purpose

should we drink fizzy drink ?

Should we Drink Fizzy Drink ?

I do not think we should have fizzy drinks because they are not healthy for your body.

There is too much sugar or caffeine in all of the fizzy drinks. A caffeine compound which is found especially in tea and coffee plants and is a stimulant of the central nervous system. There is a half of cup of caffeine in a fizzy drinks.

Another reason is that fizzy drinks will make you put on weight. They have so much sugar in them. Even a little can of coke has over 9 teaspoons of sugar in it. We know that people in NZ are becoming more and more overweight and too much sugar is making this worse.

Lastly, drinking fizzy drinks can make your teeth wear away. A drink of coke wears your teeth away ten times faster than a drink of fruit juice. Did you know that 4 cans of cola a day will increase tooth decay by 252%!
So - you can see why I think fizzy drinks are bad for you.

One day there was a boy named Alex. He is 12 year old, he said ‘I want to be a soldier when I grow up’. 15 year later. Alex was going to sign up to be a soldier. Alex was practicing to a soldier. He did some push up, shooting practice and all other stuff that soldiers do.

Today is the time that we vs china. Finally we made it to land. The other soldier gave Alex a gun and said ‘ get ready’. ‘ready for what’. ‘ready for the WORLD WAR 1!!!!!!!!’. ‘AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!’. All of the soldiers ran to kill the chinese soldier.

The soldiers start running to the fight, Alex was running with them where they are going. Then suddenly they all started to shoot at the chinese soldier. Some of the soldier died and some of the chinese soldier died too. One chinese soldier shoot my friend then Alex got angry and shoot all of the chinese soldiers, and we won but Alex still sad.

We started to get all of the dead soldiers and bury the dead soldier in the grave. But Alex to his friend REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND.

The pirate war !

One day there was a man named Tom. When he was little boy he wanted to be a pirate. And his mum said no. And when he was all grown he became a pirate. There crew keep on winning. His mum was worried. And his crew name was The FAME CREW!!!.

It was the finale battle between The FAME CREW vs The RISING SUN. The Rising sun have very good pirate and they think they don't have a chance to beat them. The captain of the rising sun is William Moody.

‘ I can see William Moody ship captain’ the one looks out for ships. The rising sun ship was next to our ship. And they started to fight. ‘Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh’ they all yelled. The rising sun came on our ship. captain vs captain and crew vs crew.

Pirate dieing guns shooting and the waves rocking side to side. They were trying to win the golden treasure too have it. Then William Moody said ‘ this is the end you brother’ ‘not today William Moody’ then the rising sun lost and the FAME CREW WON!!!!!!!!.
